About The Glitch Mob

The Glitch Mob – the Los Angeles-based trio comprising Justin Boreta, Ed Ma, and Joshua Mayer – continues their forward movement into 2018. Boreta, edIT, and Ooah came together around 2006, passing through various members until settling on this core trio of musicians.

Together, they combined their different skills and aesthetics into the compellingly collaged whole that has become one of the most beloved live electronic acts, and distinctive recording artists, working today.

Anomalie

Anomalie is the live electronic project of Nicolas Dupuis, a classically trained and highly versatile keyboardist and producer based in Montreal, QC.

After the release of his style defining project Metropole in June 2017, Anomalie will release the highly anticipated follow-up, Metropole Part II, in May 2018, completing the EP series inspired by his hometown of Montreal. Each song on both EPs alludes to a specific location in Montreal that’s meaningful to Nico and the city’s budding music scene.

While Anomalie is an independent artist, his music has grown to international recognition and has set the stage to tour internationally with ‘Anomalie Live,’ his 4-piece band bringing his productions to life on stage with energy-driven arrangements and original interpretations of his produced music.

His independent success is a result of both acclaim from international music blogs and the reach of his self-made viral videos showcasing Metropole’s music and his own keyboard skills. The videos have reached close to 6M views and earned praise and attention from notable musicians such as Charlie Puth, Austin Mahone, Thundercat, Electro Deluxe, Lido, Big Wild, Big Gigantic, and more.

For Dupuis, music has been in his blood since an early age, leading to more than 17 years of experience studying classical and jazz piano performance. This led him to become the first person to be awarded the Yannick Nézet-Séguin (Philadelphia Orchestra, Orchestre Métropolitain, Rotterdams Philharmonisch) excellence grant in 2012. Anomalie also has been a guest instructor at Berklee School of Music in Boston and the Nexus Institute.

EDMsauce – “Anomalie is bringing something brilliantly new to the table in the world of electronic music…He incorporates sounds of soul and jazz seamlessly into captivating and pensive arrangements of percussion. The flow of his work are truly second to none, and his style is refined with each additional release.”

Indie Shuffle – “Anomalie ushers in that ‘New Space’ to lend pomp and circumstance to the new times.”

ThisSongIsSick – “There’s something about the Montreal-based artist’s music that hits you just right…His lush sound design and ear for melody is the perfect match for his insane piano skills, making for a one-of-a-kind sound that we can’t get enough of…If Mozart was a producer, he would be Anomalie.”

YourEDM – “Anomalie effortlessly blends elements of trap, hip hop, funk, jazz and classical music to create gorgeous works of art.”
