Previously selling out The Wilma in 2019, award-winning artists, Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt will return to The Wilma stage together on October 26, 2022. Take a look at the photo gallery from their previous show in Missoula here.

Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt have garnered an astounding 26 Grammy nominations over the years. Seeing them on stage together is a one-of-a-kind experience.

A singer, composer and actor, Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums over three decades. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-based musician fuses elements of Americana, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers. Whether touring as a ‘Duo’ or with his ‘Acoustic Group’ or ‘The Large Band’, Lovett’s live performances show not only the breadth of this Texas legend’s deep talents, but also the diversity of his influences, making him one of the most compelling and captivating musicians in popular music. 2022 saw Lyle release the 12th of June —  his first record in over a decade.

Since 2000, John Hiatt has been on a remarkable late-career run, releasing nine acclaimed studio albums and embarking on numerous tours in the U.S. and abroad. In fact, even as he prepared for the release of The Eclipse Sessions, his tenth record this century, Hiatt could be found traveling the robber’s highway in Europe with his old backing band, the Goners for a tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of his 1988 album, Slow Turning. In 2021, John released Leftover Feelings, an album he did with the Jerry Douglas Band.

About John Hiatt

A master lyricist and satirical storyteller, John Hiatt delivers songs filled with tales of redemption, relationships and surrendering on his own terms. Hiatt’s finest album is 1987’s Bring the Family; other catalog highlights include the pop and rock of 1983's Riding with the King, the rough-hewn blues-rock of 2008’s Same Old Man, and 2021’s Leftover Feelings.

His lyrics and melodies have graced more than 20 studio albums, have been recorded by Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, B.B. King, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt and scores of others, and have earned him a place in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, a BMI Troubadour award, and a lifetime achievement in songwriting designation from the Americana Music Association.
