Here’s the long and short: The Top Hat restaurant in Missoula just released their new menu for Fall 2023 that features 12 new dishes including entrees and desserts. They’re open every day, 11am-10pm and DoorDash delivery is available Sun-Wed. Get the full scoop and read below!
Fall is in full force and it’s time to cozy up with friends and family to share in all the good times that make this season so special. The Top Hat’s culinary team is excited to unveil the new fall menu – one that combines the warmth and comfort you crave during the changing seasons. Made from scratch, and soulfully created by Chef Rosie, the latest menu features 12 new delicious dishes including vegetarian, vegan and dairy free options, protein-rich dishes and indulgent desserts!
Kickstart your dining experience with one of the enticing new appetizers like the Sweet Chili Chicken Wings, Cheese Dip Trio or Lemon Coconut Curry Mussels. While each of these appetizers is perfect for sharing at your table, the Cheese Dip Trio stands out, offering a delightful selection of dips, including French onion parmesan, spinach artichoke goat cheese, and grilled pear and brie with sriracha honey, served with warm bread from Missoula’s Le Petit bakery.
Ready for the main event? Enjoy one of the exquisite new entrees, like Rosie’s personal favorite, the Miso Glazed Halibut, or explore the rich flavors of the Moroccan Steak Pasta and hearty Shepherd’s Pie. A true cold weather classic, the Shepherd’s Pie is as comforting as a warm blanket, featuring a blend of tender lamb, sweet peas, herb-infused brown gravy, and a luscious three-cheese garlic mashed potato topping. It’s a homestyle delight that encapsulates the heartwarming essence of the season.
Other new entree worthy items include the Carne Asada Burger, Asian Barbeque Tacos, and Lemon Chimichurri Chicken Sandwich – a new twist on an old Top Hat favorite. The Burger comes complete with refried black beans, local Mannix grass-fed beef, carne asada marinade, queso fresco, grilled jalapeno, shredded iceberg, tomatoes, onions, and garlic aioli. Featuring a delightful fusion of spicy Asian barbeque sauce and sweet apple cabbage slaw, the tacos come with your choice of chicken, shrimp, or jackfruit for a vegan-friendly option.
A proper nod to the season’s flavors, the new Roasted Butternut Arugula Salad is a perfect embodiment of fall. It includes a harmonious combination of roasted butternut squash, crisp arugula, and mixed greens sourced from Local Bounti, all coming together with the sweetness of dried cranberries, the richness of goat cheese crumbles, the crunch of pecans, and a finishing touch of sweet onion vinaigrette. It’s a celebration of autumn in every bite.
And last but most sweet, two new desserts have landed on the menu… a Cherry Turnover with local vanilla ice cream from Big Dipper and Earl Grey Infused Mousse featuring lavender whipped cream, cardamom candied orange peel, and of course earl grey tea from Lake Missoula Tea Company.
