The Brothers Comatose Confirm Return to The Top Hat in 2023
San Francisco-based Americana mavens, The Brothers Comatose, will return to the Top Hat on November 8, 2023.
The Brothers Comatose are a 5-piece string band that have grown their fanbase through energetic live performances, smooth harmonies and fiery picking. Since their start in 2010, they’ve released six albums with their most recent, Ear Snacks, coming in 2023. The album features a bunch of special guests including Charlie Parr, Nicki Bluhm, and The California Honeydrops to name a few. They’ve played a bunch of music festivals including Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, High Sierra Music Festival, Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival and many more.
Fans in Montana have been lucky enough to see The Brothers Comatose tour through Big Sky Country several times and they always put on a stellar live performance (photos).

About The Brothers Comatose
Whether traveling to gigs on horseback or by tour bus, Americana mavens The Brothers Comatose forge their own path with raucous West Coast renderings of traditional bluegrass, country and rock ‘n’ roll music. The five-piece string band is anything but a traditional acoustic outfit with their fierce musicianship and rowdy, rock concert-like shows.
The Brothers Comatose is comprised of brothers Ben Morrison (guitar, vocals) and Alex Morrison (banjo, vocals), Steve Height (bass, vocals), Philip Brezina (violin), and Greg Fleischut (mandolin).
When they’re not headlining The Fillmore for a sold-out show or appearing at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, the band is out on the road performing across America, Canada, Australia, and hosting their very own music festival, Comatopia, in the Sierra foothills.
